What is CueLoad?

CueLoad is mobile-first equipment software for event technology teams and rental companies (lighting, sound, video, staging): plan gear per project, see real-time availability and shortages, and load and return the van from your phone, even with poor signal.

Who is CueLoad for?

CueLoad is for lighting, sound, video and staging crews and the rental companies that run their warehouses – from a small team with one van to a company planning several jobs a week.

How does availability checking work in CueLoad?

CueLoad counts gear as busy when it is on another confirmed project whose prep-to-return dates overlap, when it is loaded and not yet back (even if that project has ended), or when it is marked unusable or lost. Draft projects do not take stock but show as planned. Every project line shows needed, free and short, live for everyone.

What happens when gear is double-booked?

The line shows how many are short, in red, and the project's shortage list collects every short line. A tap shows which other projects use the gear and when, so you can move it, change dates or rent the missing gear in from a supplier.

Does it work with poor signal?

Yes, on a patchy connection. Every action has its own id, so one that got no answer is sent again without being saved twice. With no connection at all, loading and returns pause and the screen says “No connection”, so nothing is lost silently. Working fully offline is not available yet.

Can CueLoad track bulk and serial-numbered gear?

Yes. Each model is tracked by quantity (cables, pars) or by serial number (moving heads, consoles). Serial-numbered units are picked one by one when loading, and the app shows which unit is on which project and when it is due back.

Can I import my gear list from Excel or CSV?

Yes. Upload a .csv or .xlsx file with columns such as name, category, quantity, serial numbers, shelf and weight, in English or Lithuanian. You see a preview with any row errors before anything is saved.

Can I add gear rented in from other companies?

Yes. A rented-in line goes on the same project list with the supplier, a status (needed, requested, confirmed) and a return date. CueLoad makes a request PDF per supplier and flags late returns to the supplier.

How are missing or damaged items handled on return?

In return mode each item is marked returned, missing or damaged. Damaged gear is either still usable or out of service; out of service and lost gear is not available until it is marked Repaired or Found.

Do crew members pay?

No. Crew accounts are free. Paid seats are the people who plan, manage or run the warehouse.

What does the free trial include?

Everything, for your whole team, for 14 days. You don't need a card to start. When the trial ends, the account becomes view-only until a subscription starts, and gear can still be returned.

How much does CueLoad cost?

CueLoad is in early access with a free 14-day trial: every feature, no card required. Crew accounts are free. Prices for paid seats will be published before billing starts.

Is there a CueLoad mobile app?

CueLoad is a web app built for the phone: it runs in the browser and can be installed on the home screen. Apps in the App Store and Google Play are planned, not available yet.

Which languages does CueLoad support?

English and Lithuanian. Dates and numbers follow the chosen language; each project keeps its own time zone.

Can one person work for several companies?

Yes. One account can belong to several companies – useful for freelancers – and the app has a company switcher.

How do I switch from a spreadsheet or another system?

Export your gear list to .csv or .xlsx, import it in CueLoad and check the preview for row errors. Then invite the crew (their accounts are free) and plan your next job in CueLoad.

What doesn't CueLoad do yet?

No loading or returns with no connection at all, no QR or barcode scanning, no store apps, no crew scheduling or hours, no invoicing, no full repairs module and no transfers between warehouses yet.

Switching from a spreadsheet or another tool?

You can move to CueLoad without retyping your warehouse: import the gear list, invite the crew for free and start loading from the phone.

  • Import a .csv or .xlsx file with name, category, quantity, serial numbers, shelf and weight (English or Lithuanian column names); a preview shows row errors before anything is saved.
  • Crew accounts are free, so the people at the van can use it from day one.
  • It runs in the phone's browser and can be installed on the home screen – nothing to download from a store.
