Rental and consumable equipment
Every piece of equipment has a Type: Rental or Consumable. You choose it when you add the equipment.

Rental
Your own equipment that goes out to an event and comes back: lights, speakers, cables, staging. CueLoad always counts its stock, checks its availability and expects it back in return mode. It can be counted by quantity or by serial number.
Do not mix this up with rented equipment, which you hire in from another company for one project.
Consumable
Things that get used up: gaffer tape, haze fluid, batteries. A consumable is always counted by quantity.
- When you return, tap Enter what is left. The difference counts as used up, not as missing, and leaves the stock.
- Count stock can be switched off for cheap items you do not want to count. Then CueLoad shows "not counted", never reports the item short and does not take stock changes for it.
- With Count stock on, buy or write off through Change stock on the equipment card, like any other equipment.
Consumables can still go on a project list and be loaded, so the crew knows to take them.
